#076 The Zion House

«In this mix I wanted to bring a little more of my personality into house music. I go through several aspects that I like, from remixes of the most classics to denser things within the acid house that I love! I also wanted to bring a little of the sound of the Ballroom Culture that I am part of and build the Community here in Brazil. House Music for me is the beginning of my journey as a DJ and the beginning of the Ballroom sound, so it is very meaningful for me to participate in building a set that brings a mix of all of this. Thank you very much House of Others for the invitation and I hope you like my sound!»

«En este mix he querido aportar un poco más de mi personalidad a la música house. Paso por varios aspectos que me gustan, desde remixes de los mas clásicos hasta cosas mas densas dentro del acid house que me encanta! También quería traer un poco del sonido de la Cultura Ballroom de la que formo parte y donde construyo la Comunidad aquí en Brasil. «El house fue una de mis primeras llaves a la búsqueda de mi propia identidad como una persona no binaria. La pista de baile fue donde pude encontrarme y liberarme, es un espacio demasiado sagrado para mí, donde puedes encontrarte con personas maravillosas unidas por lo mismo, la música.
Nos abrimos, nos entendemos y la música es nuestro conductor hacia grandes epifanías que suceden en la pista de baile.
Este set es una evidencia de ésto y del viaje musical que me gusta crear, pasando por diferentes géneros musicales para generar momentos de introspección y euforia en las personas.
Pueden encontrar clásicos, percusiones, house, bubbling, disco, afro y siempre con sonoridades latinas, que fueron los pilares musicales de mi infancia queer, habiendo sido nacide y criade en la Patagonia Chilena, en Punta Arenas.»

«House was one of my first keys to the search for my own identity as a non-binary person. The dance floor was where I was able to find myself and free myself, it is a space too sacred for me, where you can meet wonderful people united by the same thing, music.
We open up, we understand each other and the music is our conductor towards great epiphanies that happen on the dance floor.
This set is an evidence of this and of the musical journey I like to create, going through different musical genres to generate moments of introspection and euphoria in people.
You can find classics, percussions, house, bubbling, disco, afro and always with Latin sounds, which were the musical pillars of my queer childhood, having been born and raised in the Chilean Patagonia, in Punta Arenas.»
