«Mi primer acercamiento a la música fue a través del house y el rock. Ambos estilos, en crossfade, podrían llevar a la música disco, así como el azul y amarillo a tonalidades de verde. En la juventud, décadas más, décadas menos, el house era y en parte sigue siendo el sonido del pop. Es un género muy directo, amplio, para todo público, abierto, flexible. Fue mutando y tiene un montón de facetas. Lo que no encaja en nada, puede ser confortable, acogedor o no, es como una casa.
Para este mix compilé algo de lo que estuve escuchando estos últimos meses, como para hacer un paseo ecléctico por distintas formas en las que se pueda apreciar algo de este maravilloso género que tanta alegría y amor nos viene dando.»
«My first approach to music was through house and rock. Both styles, in crossfade, could lead to disco, as well as blue and yellow to shades of green. In the youth, decades more, decades less, house was and partly still is the sound of pop. It is a very direct genre, broad, for all audiences, open, flexible. It has been mutating and has a lot of facets. What doesn’t fit in anything, can be comfortable, cozy or not, it’s like a house.
For this mix I compiled some of what I’ve been listening to these last months, as if to make an eclectic walk through different ways in which you can appreciate something of this wonderful genre that has been giving us so much joy and love.»
