«2024 ha sido un año lleno de cambios. Tiempo de tomar decisiones sin saber exactamente qué, cómo ni cuándo. En esos momentos de desorientación, la música House me ha dado la esperanza necesaria para continuar. Un pilar fiel como la amistad, lleno de Amor, como una vez nos enseñaron. No son tiempos maravillosos, la verdad. House of Others ha sido el proyecto que me ha mantenido vivo y con ganas de seguir creando comunidad alrededor de la música House. Y ahora vivo en Berlín.
He querido celebrar el fin de año, con todos vosotros, con una recopilación de temas que encapsulan este 2024 en formato de música House. Amor y admiración por les productores que ponen su alma en cada beat. ¡Feliz House a todos!»

«2024 has been a year full of changes. Time to make decisions without knowing exactly what, how or when. In those moments of disorientation, House music has given me the necessary hope to continue. A faithful pillar like friendship, full of Love, as we were once taught. These are not wonderful times, to be honest. House of Others has been the project that has kept me alive and willing to continue creating community around House music. And now I live in Berlin.
I wanted to celebrate the end of the year, with you all, with a compilation of tracks that encapsulate this 2024 in House music format. Love and admiration for the producers who put their soul into every beat. Happy New House, everyone!«

El house se asocia a menudo con el sentimiento de alegría, y en gran medida tiene mucho de eso.
Pero, ¿qué tristeza, desesperación, angustia, desamor, inquietud y rabia nos llevan a la pista de baile para buscar esa alegría?
Esta mezcla viaja por el reino de las emociones humanas,
a la vez que rinde homenaje a los clásicos de los 80 y principios de los 90 y al acid house que lo empezó todo.

«La percusión siempre sube a lo más alto en Nueva York. Ya sea techno que corta el aire con hi-hats feroces, acid house que casi puedes ver salir de los altavoces o un himno vocal con una rotura de batería más larga que su versión radiofónica, NYC siempre ha sido el lugar donde los discos con ese chisporroteo tribal dominan la pista de baile.
Mi mezcla es una selección de temas que ponen de relieve cómo los distintos géneros del house pueden unirnos como tribu, aunque a primera vista no suenen a la música tribal house tradicional. Espero que añada un poco de picante a tu semana y mucha alegría a tus fines de semana.»

«The percussion always rises to the top in New York. Whether it’s techno slicing through the air with fierce hi-hats, acid house rim shots that you can almost see coming out of the speakers, or a vocal anthem with a drum break longer than its radio version, NYC has always been where records with that tribal sizzle rule the dance floor.
